On Wednesday 6 March, we visited the National Police Data Processing Centre in El Escorial. During this visit, we were able to get inside the guts of a state-of-the-art technological infrastructure and understand the crucial role they play.
We were surrounded by high-tech equipment and advanced cyber security systems that protect critical data and ensure the integrity of police operations. We learned about the importance of data collection, analysis and management in fighting crime and protecting citizens.
In addition, we had the opportunity to interact with professionals working at the centre, who shared their experiences and knowledge on the use of cutting-edge technology to address the most pressing security challenges.
The visit provided us with an insider's view of the critical role technology plays in public safety.
